I also try to include the most popular adjustments that the average traveler might want to make to those itineraries.

But sometimes you need more in order to make your own itinerary just perfect for you.

Here’s how it works

  • Select your date and time: At the top and bottom of this page, you will find buttons to book a call. They will send you to a calendar with availability. Select whatever time slot works best for you, and complete check out.
  • Complete the questionnaire: After booking your call, you will receive a questionnaire via email so that I can get to know you and understand what you’d like to gain from our call. By doing this beforehand, we save this discussion from eating into your call time!
  • We have our call: After booking your call, you will also receive your email invitation to our Google Meet video call. It is not necessary to have or use a Gmail email to join this call. In this call, you will basically be chatting to a friend who has already been to the destination you are going and has a strange love for planning trips! If you are traveling with a buddy, they can join the call at no extra cost.

This Travel Consultation is Perfect for You If…

  • You have read through my itineraries but need help making, brainstorming, or sanity-checking adjustments so that my itineraries fit your travel dates, requirements, or interests.
  • You want to start a brand new itinerary from scratch together, based entirely upon your bucket list of destinations and travel experiences.
  • You feel nervous about any part of the booking process and want help searching for convenient flights and trains/transport for your dates, deciding what days/order to visit cities and attractions, or confirming that what you want to do is feasible.
  • You basically just want a buddy to run things by before purchasing, to bounce ideas and concerns off of, and to receive feedback from. This can include non-itinerary topics that I cover on this site like solo travel, moving abroad, and leaving a corporate career.

This Travel Consultation Does Not Include…

  • Reservations. During the video call, I can help you search for and decide on flights, hotels, trains, attractions, tours. But I do not make any bookings on your behalf.
  • Detailed itinerary. During the call, we can work together on starting an itinerary, if you’d like. But this consultation is to help you as you plan your own itinerary. It does not include a detailed day-by-day itinerary as a deliverable, nor a list of suggested hotels or restaurants to share with you. (I do have suggestions for hotels in Italy and hotels in Spain, though.)

There are no refunds for this product. If you are unhappy for any reason, please let me know, and I’ll do my best to make it right.

If you need to reschedule our video call, please let me know as soon as possible and before our call. You’ll receive one reschedule without penalty.

If you need to reschedule a second time, the video call will be canceled. Instead, you may email me up to 5 questions to be answered via email. Questions should be emailed within 7 days of the canceled video call date.

No-shows are not permitted to be rescheduled. If you arrive to the call late, we can use the remainder of the call time.

It’s up to you! After you book, I will send over a questionnaire. The purpose of this is to get to know you and your needs before the call, so that we can save this discussion from eating into the actual call time.

But this questionnaire or how much of it you fill out is completely optional. If you’d rather have a free-flowing chat without a plan, that’s totally fine, too!

Whatever you’d like help with! Do you want me to share my screen and start looking up flights or trains with you? Do you want to list off cities you want to see for me to confirm are feasible and suggest an efficient order to visit them? Is your itinerary basically done, and you just want an extra set of eyes over it? Whatever stage of your planning you are at is fine.

No. Consultations are for those planning their own itineraries but who have some questions.

If, after our consultation, you are interested in a day-by-day itinerary from me, you can let me know, and we may be able to design a bespoke itinerary planning service for you.

No. I am not a travel agent and thus will not make any bookings (hotel, flights, trains, restaurant reservations, etc.) on your behalf.

Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover are all acceptable payment methods.

Payments are processed through Stripe. I have no access to your credit card details.

That’s fine! It’s your call, and we can chat about whatever you’d like, provided it relates to the site.
